CANCELLATION POLICY

Apart from the consultation, all bookings require a 20% non-refundable booking fee to secure any booking and will be deducted from the remaining balance of the service booked. Services are not transferrable to another person unless it is for a consultation appointment or removal.

We understand that things come up suddenly that may be out of your control but if you wish to cancel/reschedule your appointment you must provide at least 24hrs notice via phone or text message. Less than 24hrs notice for any cancellation/reschedule and “no show” will still be liable to pay for the full service booked before another booking can be made. Please be aware if you arrive late to your appointment that time will be deducted from your allocated timeframe or may not be performed due to insufficient time to conduct the service. This is to ensure it is fair for everyone and appointments run on time.

What are the benefits of paraffin wax hand treatment?

Paraffin wax is a luxurious treatment that can relax your hands from a busy days work and helps moisturise, sooth and hydrate the skin on your hands, nails and cuticles. The paraffin wax acts as an emollient, which helps trap moisture into the skin leaving your hands feeling soft and supple.

It can also help treat and manage the following conditions:

  • Chilblains

  • Raynaud’s disease

  • Arthritis (when not inflamed)

  • Muscle and joint stiffness

  • Muscle spasms

  • Callus and scar tissue

How hot is the paraffin wax?

The wax is heat controlled to around 50 degrees which won’t cause any burns.

We will ease your hand in so you can feel the temperature and you will notice that it is hot but very comfortable to dip your whole hand up to your wrist to let the wax form around your hand. We will perform 2-3 dips for the perfect coverage.
