What does the preview entail?

We will go through:

Your whole planned wedding day, which include themes, colours, flowers, venue, designs, dress, time schedule, bridal party, etc.

Skin consultation and ultimately your makeup colour/design.

Where will the Preview and Event day makeup application take place?

The preview will be in studio in Padstow and on the event day will be the location of your choosing.

Please be mindful to have a clear space for your artist to work in. Always best where there is the most natural daylight and easy access to a power point.

In cases where the service is completed at a venue. Please arrange the parking and if any parking fees also so that your artist arrives on time and has quick easy access with the gear.

Are lashes included in the preview and event date?

Yes strip lashes are included and not charged at an extra fee. Only young adults <16 are not included. If they wish to have lashes, consent from parent/guardian is required and charged a fee for application.

If you are getting eyelash extensions as part of the Bridal package then the strip lashes are not applicable. 

What if we go over time?

3 hours is included in the preview and then charged at $90 per hour blocks thereafter. But in general 3hours is enough time.

Do I need to bring anything to the preview?

Bring anything that may impact the makeup design such as hair and makeup inspirations, your accessories, bridal gown design - texture/fabric, bridesmaid dress colour scheme, wedding theme, etc.

All this really helps identify your needs and guidance to your desired outcome to put everything together nicely. Your artist will also help guide you in picking the best looks to suit each individual. 

Medical condition/surgery/contraindication/allergy.

Please speak to your artist, as you may need to get a clearance from your doctor first for the service to be performed for you and your artists health and safety.

Appointments must be rescheduled if there are issues/not safe to perform the booked service. Please be aware that reschedule/cancellation policy still applies.

In cases of issues happening on the day of event. Some cases a clearance may still be required from your doctor or disposable/your own brushes may be used on yourself only.

Will I get a touch up kit after you finish?

Yes you will get a small touch up kit at the end when your artist leaves. Unless you have a personal artist for the full day then no touch up kit is required.

Do you charge for travel fee?

Travel fee is generally free but in some instances depending on the destination will attract a travel fee, which will be discussed during the preview and will be included in your final quote.

Parking fees?

Any parking fees are charged as per their rate at each destination. It is crucial for your artist to have easy/fast access to make sure everything runs on schedule.

I know you are based in Sydney but how far do you travel?

Domestic and International destinations.

When should I get my facial waxing done?

If you are to get any facial waxing, please do so at least 4 days beforehand.  You want to avoid any redness, irritation and reaction on the day. 

There have been instances where only a partial facial wax was done on the sides of the face the day before and with the application of foundation you could really see where it was waxed and no amount of makeup can cover up the different textures on the face from smooth surface to fine facial hair. So please keep this in mind.

When should I get my last facial done?

Speak to your beauty therapist and you also know your skin better than anyone else. So please make sure all is good before the big day!

What if the amount of people booked decrease?

The original stated quote is still payable. You can get someone else to take that persons place but no rain checks are acceptable.

What if we wish to increase the amount of people booked?

Discussion with your artist is required; to confirm availability, as another artist may be required to make sure everything runs on schedule.

What if someone at the last minute also wants their makeup done on the day?

Please check with your artist for availability. Payment in cash only is due before any application will commence. Under no circumstances can payment/transfers be done after.

If I have a large party, do we get any discounts?

Unfortunately no. There is no discount for the amount of people getting service, as the amount of effort and time required is increased not decreased. Pride is given on personalized treatment and not rushed. If your boss asked you to work longer hours for free or at a lower rate than your base pay because there is more work to be done. Would you do it?

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept direct bank transfers and cash only.

When do you require payment?

50% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure any booking. The final payment is due 30 days before the event date. In the event you have booked less than 30 days. FULL payment is required.

If the final payment is not paid, the service may not go ahead.

What if I decide to cancel the booking?

The initial 50% booking fee is forfeited. Anything else paid may be refunded to you, UNLESS cancellation is within 30 days of the booked event, then 100% of the payment is required, as your spot cannot be filled.

 What happens if I want/need to reschedule the event day?

Please speak to your artist to discuss if that day is available.  In case where the artist is not available the day you want to change to, minus the initial booking fee any remaining money paid may be refunded. Unless the original date planned was within 30 days 100% of the payment is still payable, as your spot cannot be filled. 

What if I want to downgrade/upgrade any packages?

Please speak to your artist to discuss, as every package is different.
